Helena Community Gardens will be hosting the 7th Annual Grow Local Event on Tuesday, April 1st from 5:30-8:30 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. A community potluck will run from 5:30-6:30 along with the Montana Women’s Chorus, local vendors, and opportunities to sign up for garden plots. Our keynote speaker, Bob Quinn, will be starting at 7pm. Bob Quinn is an organic farmer and researcher from Big Sandy, Montana. His talk is titled, “The Future of Farming: Providing Food Not Commodities”. This event is free and open to the public and free childcare will be provided.
